Updated Micrium OS simplifies embedded design

Silicon Labs' Micrium OS and Platform Builder are equipped with simple development and debugging interfaces for semiconductor providers.

Silicon Labs has rolled out a proven embedded µC/OS real-time operating system (RTOS), Micrium OS, that features an optimised RTOS kernel, communication stacks, file system and graphical user interface. The Platform Builder tool simplifies development and configuration for developers—consequently cutting cost, time and effort. The OS supports major semiconductor providers including NXP, Renesas, Silicon Labs and STMicroelectronics.

The updated OS simplifies development with intuitive interfaces and improved debugging and advanced error handling to pinpoint bugs more rapidly.
