PCIe, DDR3 SDRAM IP subsystems target custom LSI platforms

The PCI Express cores from Toshiba include standard-compliant, full-featured PCI Express 3.0/2.1/1.1 cores and high-performance, scatter-gather DMA cores and drivers (Linux & Windows).

Toshiba's Storage & Device Solutions Co., together with Northwest Logic, has brought to market its PCI Express and DDR3 SDRAM IP subsystems. These subsystems are offered on custom LSI platforms such as including ASIC and FFSA.

The PCI Express cores include standard-compliant, full-featured PCI Express 3.0/2.1/1.1 cores and high-performance, scatter-gather DMA cores and drivers (Linux & Windows), noted the company. The DDR3 SDRAM controller core promises high-bandwidth support with a full set of optional add-on cores that include ARM AMBA AXI, multi-port, reordering, ECC and memory test support.
