550W CRPS accepts up to 264VAC input voltage

The CSU550AP generates a main output of 12VDC for feeding downstream DC/DC converters in systems that employ distributed power architectures.

Artesyn's server power supply, the CSU550AP, delivers 550W from a 1U rack-mount enclosure that is just 73.5mm x 185mm—a form factor that is narrower and shorter than similarly rated earlier-generation power supplies.

A common redundant power supply (CRPS) type of server power supply, the CSU550AP allows designers to conserve system space in hyperconverged computing, networking, and storage infrastructure for enterprise IT and cloud environments, according to the company.

The CSU550AP accepts a wide input voltage range of 90VAC to 264VAC with active power factor correction and 80 Plus Platinum rated peak efficiency of 94%. It generates a main output of 12VDC for feeding downstream DC/DC converters in systems that employ distributed power architectures. A 12VDC standby output rated at 3A can be used for power management or supervisory circuitry. The main DC output delivers up to 45A.

Fully digital and compatible with Artesyn’s PMBus GUI, the hot-pluggable CSU550AP can be controlled via an I2C interface using standard PMBus commands. Other power supply features include active load sharing and protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature and short circuits.
